Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for sale is a 2005 Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster with a Gator ATA Flight Guitar case, an Ibanez Tube screamer TS-9 and an Electro-Harmonix Classics Holy Grail Reverb effects pedal w/ AC adapter included for both. I purchased the SRV Strat new from Guitar Center and it has since remained in its case. This is new guitar and was only played when I purchased it and one other time when I changed the strings. It was ordered from Fender so I didn’t hang on a wall and get played by everyone who saw it. There have been no modifications at all done to it and it even till has the plastic on the pickguard and spring tension cover. After this many years the gold has started to fade but that’s a given with gold hardware. Also on the very bottom of the guitar there is very small paint chip and was the fault of Fender as it was being assembled. The only reason I kept this one is because out of all the SRV strats I played this one played far and away better than any other and I couldn’t just let something like that go regardless of a very minor flaw. The retail on these is now over $2000 new and keeps going up every year like it has since they were introduced in 1992. If you haven’t noticed Fender has increased the price of their guitars astronomically over the past 2 years. The MSRP in 08’ for the SRV Strat was $2149 and this year climbed to $2699. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this guitar double in value over the next 10 years. If you’re curious as to why its remained in its case all these years is because I bought it with the desire to own one of these and had planned to keep it for the rest of my life and pass it along to my family when I’m gone and I knew keeping in its case would protect it. Unfortunately I lost my job and thanks to that I’m now losing this to and I’ll be honest it absolutely kills me to let it go but I really have no choice. The case it will come with is a Gator ATA flight case which just means it has been approved for airline travel. The great thing about this case is that it is one of the older models before Gator started putting TSA locks on all of the ATA cases which means you can still use your own lock with it and it also weighs about half as much a regular ATA cases but still offers the same protection. It also uses 3 spring loaded twist latches which make it just about impossible for the case to open by accident. These latches have since been discontinued by Gator on ATA cases and they now use the built in TSA locks. There are some stickers on the case as seen in the pictures of which I’m sure if needed could be removed. The two effect pedals included are an Ibanez Tube Screamer TS-9 and an Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Reverb of which are in both very good shape and show very little signs of wear and are in perfect working order. As stated above they will come with their original AC adapters. No modifications have been to either of these pedals and it is a TS-9 reissue. The Holy Grail Reverb is an original with the sheet metal chassis which is no longer being made as they are now all made of diecast metal. As with most discontinued effect pedals its sure to become a collectable and see an increase in value fairly quickly. Now if your still reading this then I do sincerely thank you for your time.
