This is an Epiphone Custom Les Paul Limited Edition - Blackback The colors are ebony and ivory. Street price for these guitars new is $599.00. I obtained it from a music store because it had a broken head stock. It has been properly repaired and is as strong as new. Everything works fine. The repair is noticeable due to cosmetic imperfections only. I can understand your concern about neck or head stock repairs. There are many guitars that have a head stock glued on around the nut and everybody is ok with that because the factory built it that way. I suggest that you watch some YouTube neck break and head stock repairs by outstanding luthiers so that you understand that this is not rocket science, it is a very simple repair, and it is done all the time. The beauty of a neck / head stock crack or break is that you have two pieces of wood that fit together perfectly, they are clean and dry, perfectly aligned, and as long as you apply a sufficient amount of glue and clamp it, you can't screw it up, unless you really crank it down where all the glue is squeezed out. A neck reset or anything to do with setting a fretboard is a much different story. Structurally, it is very good and strong. Otherwise, it is in like new condition showing very little signs of handling with no scrapes, scratches, or dings, etc.. It has been set up with a new set of D'Addario EXL115 strings. It plays and sounds great. There is no case included. I do have Epiphone cases for sale either a hard shell or a gig bag that will ship free with the purchase of this guitar. They are listed here on E-Bay. It is my understanding that this instrument is not eligible for a factory warranty. It has NOT been marked with “USED”, “BLEM”, “B STOCK” , “2nd” or any other similar markings. The serial number is intact on the headstock. Check my rating and feedback, my customers are happy.
