The rebate/refund will be $130.00. Rare Ibanez Japan AF220 Archtop Thinline Fully Hollow Guitar in Excellent Condition. These were only made for two years 1998-99 and very few were imported to the USA. This is the Top of the Line Ibanez AF Series Guitar and is better than the other Top of the Line Ibanez AF200, which I also owned. The guitar is quite light in weight, making it comfortable to hold and play. The sound on this one is Loud and Resonant Acoustically, and Phat plugged in. Plugged in, you can do anything from George Benson to Rockabilly. The guitar reminds me a lot of a Gibson Birdland Thinline, but without that pesky cramped 23 5/8 scale. The original price on this without a case was $1899.00. Features: * Maple Rims, Maple Top and Back in a Warm Amber Finish with unique Tortoise Shell Binding…Beautiful to look at. * 16 Inch Thinline Fully Hollow Body…no internal block. * Three Piece Neck…Mahogany, Maple, Mahogany…with Rosewood Fingerboard, Medium Jumbo Frets, and Mother of Pearl Block Inlays. There are two small nicks on the bottom side of the guitar, the part that sits on your leg. Both are small…one is through the finish, the other is not. Please see the last Picture with a dime to show the relative size. Frankly, you won’t notice them unless you actively look for them. The Epiphone Japan case is made for a deeper Archtop Guitar. It fits the 16 Inch Body very well, but is a tad too deep for a Thinline Guitar. I used a small folded hand towel underneath the guitar which raises it about 1/2 Inch, making for a very good fit. The case is in Excellent Condition, very sturdy but has a 1/2 inch dent in the lid. Has no effect on the guitar or its protection. If you decide to get another case, any ES335 style case will fit it. 59 Fender Tweed Bassman….The is mostly original, with the exception of a few caps and (1) Speaker…The speaker is period correct, but not the same date as the others ( 220945..P10R). The Tweed is still all there, but it is nicotine stained and scratched up a bit. The chrome on the chassis is still shiney, but some of the lettering is gone.. The amp plays and sounds great…All tranny’s are original, and the amp still has plenty of power. Three of the speakers have been reconed. Great warm tone, and plenty of drive when dimed.
